Typhoon MotoRacing participated at the annual Thessaloniki Moto Shop, which took place from the 18th to the 20th of May 2018, at the grounds of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). During this 3-day event, the team presented its new motorcycle model, which will represent the University of Western Macedonia, as well as Greece in Motostudent V, which will be hosted at Motorland Aragon from the 3rd to the 7th of October 2018. Albeit being incomplete, as the team is working on the manufacturing of most of its parts, the motorcycle gained the public’s attention and received a lot of positive feedback. Chimera (this is the new model’s name) has begun shaping into a fully working motorcycle. However, none of this would have been possible without the help and assistance from the team’s sponsors and supporters. This costly project would have not reached its current state without the support of the University of Western Macedonia, BETA CAE Systems and COSMOS ALUMINIUM.
